One-on-One Training Online
Using cutting-edge online technology, we will arrange on online meeting over the Internet where you share desktops with one of our team members. It takes just a minute or two to set up and then, while speaking by phone, our team member will take you through the basics of using our service. If you are a Standard or Premium plan member, we will explain all about using the Metis Online Vault, including uploading documents, monitoring projects, searching for archived files and more. While the course doesn't normally take as long as scheduled, we set aside a full two-hours to make sure we answer your questions adequately and ensure you are ready to start with minimal hassle.

Trial Bookkeeping Services
Our trial offer lets you get started with our system and try out our services at no risk to you. We will fully set you up in the system, provide training and then process up to 10 hours of work at no additional charge whatsoever. You may cancel within 30 days and get a full refund of all setup fees. You only pay for bookkeeping services provided in excess of the free trial hours.
The Standard and Premium plans are inclusive of a fixed number of bookkeeping hours at no additional charge each month, free online one-on-one support, period backup CDs and access to our advanced online systems. In addition, the unit pricing for additional hours is significantly reduced at the Standard and Premium plan levels. These monthly or annual fees cover licensing charges and other account maintenance work.
Ongoing Services Included
- Bookkeeping Services - Depending on which plan you choose, you receive a certain number of hours of bookkeeping each month at no additional cost. These hours are free for you to assign as you wish and will be handled by the bookkeeping team in charge of your work. But don't stop sending us work once you've used up your allotment of free bookkeeping hours! We will simply bill you for additional hours at the rate for extra bookkeeping services corresponding to your plan. Standard and Premium plan members enjoy significantly discounted rates!
 Online Support Services - Our systems are convenient and user-friendly, but there will likely come times when you have questions or need troubleshooting assistance. We have anticipated these needs by including support services in the Standard and Premium plans at no additional charge and additional hours of support can be purchased at reasonable prices that are discounted for Standard and Premium plan members. Using the GoToMeeting® service through our web site, access to our desktop or yours is achieved effortlessly.  Backup CDs by Mail - We will send you CDs of all your data currently stored on the Metis Online Vault on a periodic basis. (Once per year for Standard and Premium plan members.) The CD will come with search software so that you can search for files in the same way that you've become accustomed to doing on the Metis Online Vault. Provision of this data is a key component of our commitment to giving you full and unrestricted access to your data.
Accounts Included
 Metis FTP Server - Our FTP server is a convenient way to transfer files between you and us. Clients on the Basic plan will find it to be a quick and simple way to send and receive data. However, it is not as secure as the Metis Online Vault. Standard and Premium plan members can also request extra FTP accounts to facilitate easy file transfer with their clients without incurring the higher charges for the Metis Online Vault.
 Metis Online Vault - The Metis Online Vault is the central system of our service. It is where our Standard and Premium clients upload and download files, monitor projects, search for archived files and interact with our bookkeeping team. The web-based interface allows for easy access from any Internet-enabled computer and ensures cross-platform compatibility.  Metis Remote Desktop - This added service (one account is included free for Premium plan members) provides a remote desktop environment for users to access their QuickBooks®, Peachtree® or other files directly over a secure connection on the Internet. By storing master accounting files on the Metis server, we can avoid the hassles of transferring these files back and forth between projects. Additional accounts can be purchased for your clients too, in order to give them 24/7 access to their data files online. - Online Storage - We provide abundant storage space on our servers for your data. You'll find our prices to be very competitive and additional storage space may be purchased for additional fees.
- Term Contract - As part of the professional services agreement we'll sign with you, we guarantee that you will enjoy the same pricing during the contract term. The only condition of canceling is 30-day advance notice... not that you'd want to stop the service, anyway! Click here to view a copy of this agreement.
- Extra Bookkeeping Services
Once you've used up the quota of free monthly hours in your plan, just keep the work coming! We'll bill you at the end of the month for those additional hours at the rate for extra bookkeeping services corresponding to your plan. Standard and Premium plan members enjoy significantly discounted rates!
- Extra Online Support
If you are having any kind of trouble with your accounting software, using our system, scanning in materials or figuring out other complicated issues, we'll be glad to help. Of course, with the Standard and Premium plans, you already get one hour per months but if you need more, we are happy to assist. Since support work is generally provided outside of normal business hours in India, we bill this work at a slightly higher rate than the standard bookkeeping work. With our online meeting software, we are able to connect to your system and solve the problem/answer questions for you quickly.
- Extra FTP Server Accounts
Want to give a separate FTP account to each of your clients for easy transfer of data back and forth? We'll set up new accounts for you in blocks of 10 each.
- Extra Metis Online Vault Accounts
Take your accounting business to the next level by bringing your clients and employees online. We will set you up as a Vault administrator so you can create new usernames, categories and workflows. You'll have full security rights control so that each user sees only what you want them to see.
- Extra Metis Remote Access Accounts
If you and your clients require online 24/7 access to their accounting files, we'll host the software on our system and then give each user simultaneous access to the books. While our team members in India are busily updating the books, your clients can be generating invoices while you create and analyze reports... This seamless system truly takes advantage of everything our systems have to offer!
- Extra Backup CDs
Want more backups than are included in the Standard and Premium plans? Just let us know and we'll take a full backup to CD or DVD and mail it to you for a fixed charge. With our service, your data is always available to you.
- Scanning Service
While having a high-speed Fujitsu ScanSnap scanner in your office is the most convenient way to scan and send documents to us, if you'd rather we handle this for you, simply mail your documents to our office in Irving, Texas. We'll scan them in and upload them so that the bookkeeping team can do the work. Then we'll return all original documents back to you promptly.
- High-Speed Fujitsu ScanSnap Scanner (new or almost new)
For just $295, you can have a high-speed scanner in your office and ready to scan. This isn't like the cumbersome flat-bed scanners you're used to. The Fujitsu ScanSnap scanner will scan data in color on both sides of the paper at a lightning fast rate of 10-15 pages per minute. Getting your data to us for processing has never been so easy!

If you want to try the scanner out first, take advantage of our one-month try-before-you-buy option. We'll send you a scanner to use for 30 days to test with our service.
